Payment Terms & Financial Policy

Applicable to All Transactions Made via Website (www.ibcshivamjaiswal.com), Email, Offline, and B2B Correspondence
Purpose and Scope
These Payment Terms outline the obligations of the buyer (“Customer”) and seller (“Manodoyen India Pvt Ltd,” operating under the brand “Magical Carpets”) for the purchase of handmade carpets and related services. By placing an order, you expressly accept these terms and acknowledge that they form part of the legally binding contract between both parties.
These terms are to be read in conjunction with our:
Accepted Payment Methods
Domestic (India):
- Unified Payments Interface (UPI)
- NEFT / RTGS / IMPS Bank Transfers
- Net Banking via all major Indian banks
- Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay)
- Paytm / PhonePe / Google Pay (for eligible transactions)
International (Export Transactions):
- Bank Wire Transfer via SWIFT (USD, EUR, GBP, AUD accepted)
- Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) – subject to eligibility
- International Cards – processed via secure PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways
Note: All transaction charges (currency conversion fees, transfer fees, intermediary bank fees) shall be borne by the customer unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment Milestones & Structure
For Retail / Standard Orders (Ready Stock):
- 100% payment in advance is mandatory before dispatch.
For Custom / Made-to-Order Products:
- Advance Payment: 50% of invoice value upon final order confirmation.
- Balance Payment: 50% prior to dispatch OR against scanned shipping documents (mutually agreed in writing).
For B2B / Bulk Orders (Domestic or Export):
Negotiable terms, generally following:
- 50% Advance
- 30% Before Production Completion
- 20% Against Shipping Documents or Prior to Dispatch
Any deviation from the above must be documented via signed agreement or formal email confirmation.
Sample Payment Terms
- Standard Samples: Nominal fee applicable; refundable against a confirmed bulk order.
- Custom Samples: Charged based on size, complexity, and materials; non-refundable.
- All sample-related courier and packaging charges must be paid in advance.
- Ownership of samples remains with Manodoyen India Pvt Ltd unless purchased.
Taxation & Invoicing
- All domestic invoices will be GST-compliant under Indian law.
- GST will be applied as per prevailing rates (5%/12%/18% depending on product type and classification).
- Business customers must provide a valid GSTIN at checkout or before invoicing to avail Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- International shipments are invoiced as Export under LUT (Letter of Undertaking) with zero-rated GST, subject to shipping terms.
Refunds & Adjustments
- Refunds are processed only after quality inspection of returned goods, where applicable.
- Approved refunds will be credited:
- To the original mode of payment (for online transactions)
- Via NEFT/RTGS (for offline/bank transfers, subject to receipt of valid bank details)
- Refund Processing Time: Up to 15 business days post approval.
- Custom/made-to-order items are non-refundable unless defective or damaged in transit.
Cancellations
Customer-Initiated:
- Must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order (provided dispatch has not been initiated).
- No cancellation is permitted after the order enters production or shipping phase.
- Custom, personalized, or made-to-order rugs cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
Company-Initiated:
We reserve the right to cancel an order for reasons including but not limited to:
- Inventory unavailability
- Technical/pricing errors
- Suspicion of fraudulent activity
- Breach of terms and conditions
In such cases, 100% refund will be processed at our cost.
Disputes & Payment Failures
- In case of payment issues (gateway failures, charge disputes), customers must notify us within 7 days.
- Manodoyen India Pvt Ltd reserves the right to:
- Withhold shipment pending payment clearance
- Request alternate payment proof or KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation
- Deny future services for unresolved payment disputes
All disputes will first undergo internal mediation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be escalated to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, jurisdiction: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
- All payment activities are secured via encrypted gateways compliant with PCI-DSS standards.
- Unauthorized chargebacks without prior discussion may lead to:
- Account blacklisting
- Legal notice and claim for losses
- Reporting to the relevant payment institution
Manodoyen India Pvt Ltd actively cooperates with cybercrime and banking fraud investigation units, both domestically and globally.
Legal Jurisdiction & Enforcement
These Payment Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action or proceedings arising under these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Amendments & Updates
We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available at magicalcarpets.odoo.com/payment-terms. Continued usage of our services post-update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
